Iron Deficiency Day
Vifor wanted to create a standalone microsite for Europe's annual Iron Deficiency Day. Raising awareness of iron deficiency remains important, since many people will experience symptoms without even knowing their iron levels are low.

Vifor's main site is what one would expect: full of medical reports, jargon, and the Arial font family.

With this microsite, I created a look and feel that felt friendly and fun, while still pointing users to vital information through accent colors and icons. To make the site into a more interactive experience, I created animations that helped break up the information into more approachable pieces.

We were lucky enough to get the go-ahead to depart from Vifor's existing palette and brand for IronDeficiency.com: bright reds, whites, and blues. I came up with something that was tangentially related to the core brand, but felt fresher and less clinical.
